Winstead Announces 2021 Class of New Shareholders

Winstead PC is pleased to announce the election of six new shareholders, effective January 1, 2021. The new shareholders are Stephen Clarke, Scott Hancock, Shae Keefe, Jeff McPhaul, Andrew Ostapko, and Nam Tran.

Stephen Clarke is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group in Dallas. He represents businesses and individuals in a wide variety of industries, including aviation/aerospace, life, health, and disability insurance, higher education, real estate, construction, and others. Clarke has ten years of experience litigating complex disputes in state and federal courts inside and outside of Texas and before arbitration panels. He has also handled and argued multiple appeals in both state and federal appellate courts.

Shae Keefe is a member of the Business Litigation Practice Group in Houston. She represents clients in all facets of business litigation from case evaluation, mediation and arbitration, through trial. She manages disputes involving eminent domain/condemnation, business and personal injury torts, media law and insurance matters in both state and federal courts. Keefe advises clients from a variety of industries, including energy, insurance, real estate, construction, technology, and transportation.

Jeff McPhaul is a member of the Corporate, Securities/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in Dallas. He represents public and private companies in connection with public offerings and private placements of debt and equity securities, mergers, acquisitions, reverse takeovers, divestitures, private equity and venture capital transactions, entity formation, corporate governance, federal and state securities law compliance (including public reporting and disclosure obligations), securities exchange listing requirements and general commercial transactions.

Andrew Ostapko is a member of the Corporate, Securities/Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Group in Dallas. He focuses his practice on middle market mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, on venture capital fundraising, on other private securities offerings, and on entity formation and structuring, including both real estate joint venture agreements and commercial joint venture agreements. He also counsels private and public companies in a broad range of general corporate and commercial matters.

Nam Tran is a member of the Real Estate Finance Practice Group in Dallas. His practice involves a variety of commercial real estate transactions with a focus on real estate finance. He has also represented borrowers, lenders, agents and equity sponsors in a wide variety of commercial finance transactions, including secured and unsecured credit facilities, asset-based loans and acquisition finance.
