Jennifer KnapekShareholderJennifer Knapek represents financial institutions, large national and regional banks, nontraditional lenders and investors, corporate lenders, and borrowers in a variety of complex commercial finance transactions, workouts, and real estate lending matters.
Her wide range of experience in both commercial lending and workout transactions enables her to provide a broad perspective to clients in developing creative and efficient solutions to various issues. In addition to documenting and structuring commercial loan originations, her experience includes counseling clients involved with distressed loans both in and out of bankruptcy and restructuring.
Jennifer regularly represents clients in commercial loan transactions in a variety of industries, including the medical and healthcare, aviation, oil and gas, power and energy, real estate, manufacturing, construction, insurance, financial services, retail, restaurants, agricultural, and transportation sectors. She is a former co-chair of our Restructuring & Insolvency Practice Group and a former chair of our Finance & Lending Practice Group.
In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer has held several leadership roles in community and professional organizations.

- Representation of agents, lenders and borrowers in syndicated financings, middle market and asset-based financings, real estate transactions, intercreditor and subordination arrangements, letter of credit facilities, project finance transactions, public finance transactions, equity financings, acquisition financings, multicurrency financings, sale/leaseback transactions and general contract matters
- Extensive experience in debtor-in-possession financings, debt workouts and restructures, foreclosures, and litigation on behalf of banks, other financial institutions, and borrowers
