Jim Doyle is a member of Winstead's Finance & Lending Practice Group. He represents lenders in a wide array of lending transactions including, multi-bank syndicated transactions, and single bank transactions involving real property acquisition and development, working capital and asset acquisition facilities.

He also provides representation in such specialized transactions such as:

  • Vessel, aircraft and railcar financing
  • Microwave transmission towers
  • Automobile franchise lending (including floor plan) and heavy equipment financing
  • Regulatory matters including change in control, bank secrecy, Dodd Frank issues and SAR’s
  • Ex-Im Bank lending including guaranty enforcement issues
  • SBA lending including guaranty enforcement issues
  • Transactions secured by assets located in foreign countries
  • Golf course and country club financing
  • Restructuring
  • Foreclosure of both real and personal property

Representative Experience

Representation of banks as administrative agent in working capital loans and term loan credit facilities:

  • $85 million revolving credit facilities secured by notes receivable
  • $50 million revolving credit facilities secured by accounts receivable and inventory located in the U.S. and Mexico
  • $122 million real estate development loan secured by property in Texas
  • $73 million real estate development loan secured by property in Pennsylvania

Representative single bank transactions:

  • $35 million credit facilities secured by property located in various states throughout the Southwest and Southeast
  • $50 million vessel secured loan
  • $35 million Ex-Im Bank working capital facility
  • $50 million office building acquisition

Representative borrower transactions:

  • $400 million credit secured by assets in the U.S., Mexico and Europe
  • $150 million credit secured by working capital and equipment
  • $75 million facility secured by working capital assets

Representative workout and foreclosure transactions:

  • Foreclosure on high-rise residential property
  • Foreclosure on lot development transactions located throughout Texas
  • Aircraft sequestration and foreclosure
