George Craft, Jr. Returns to Winstead Real Estate Development & Investment and Finance & Banking Practice
HOUSTON, Feb.8, 2018, — George Craft, Jr. has rejoined Winstead PC as a shareholder with the firm’s Real Estate Development & Investment and Finance & Banking Practice Groups.
Craft has extensive experience representing institutional lenders in connection with complex real estate loan transactions, including the origination of mortgage and construction loans, syndications and participations. His experience also includes advising loan originators and special servicers of securitized loans in workouts, restructuring and foreclosures of problem loans. Craft also represents real estate developers and owners in a wide range of commercial real estate transactions, including the acquisition, financing, construction, leasing and disposition of improved and unimproved property.
Craft most recently practiced with Porter & Hedges, and was an associate in Winstead’s Real Estate Finance and Finance & Banking Practice from 2010 to 2016. Prior to practicing law, he was a credit analyst and a commercial real estate lender with a national bank.
Craft received his J.D. from University of Houston Law Center in 2008.
