Jack King focuses his practice on real estate development and the issues that surround it. He represents developers, investors, owners, and closely held companies in transactions that shape projects at every stage, whether a client is acquiring a single property or planning a broader expansion strategy.
His work centers on the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of commercial real estate. Jack drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements, development agreements, leases, and related transaction documents. He works closely with clients to address title, due diligence, and risk allocation issues, keeping projects on track and aligned with business objectives.
In addition, Jack has a background advising clients on entity formation and governance matters that support development activity. He assists with operating agreements, joint venture arrangements, and other ownership structures commonly used in real estate ventures.
Jack also brings experience in the mergers and acquisitions space, where he has represented private equity-backed buyers and entrepreneurial sellers in a range of transactions, including divestitures, mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures.
Before entering private practice, Jack served as a legal intern with Asurion and the Nashville Predators, in addition to clerking in several Nashville law offices where he assisted with corporate and real estate matters.
