She effectively managed the mayor-appointed Board of Zoning Appeals and spearheaded the drafting of crucial legislation on behalf of the Codes Department. Her earlier work in the Metropolitan Department of Law further honed her legal expertise, as she represented the city in diverse litigation matters and provided counsel to numerous departments, boards, and commissions.
