Knapek represents banks, financial institutions, investors, corporate lenders and borrowers in a variety of complex commercial finance transactions and restructurings. She is a former co-chair of Winstead's Turnaround & Workout Industry Group and succeeds former practice group leader Mike Hilliard, who led the practice for several years and will continue serving Winstead clients in the Houston Office.
In addition to her legal practice, Knapek holds several leadership roles in community and professional organizations. Within Winstead, she is a frequent speaker and serves on various firm leadership committees. Knapek received her J.D. with honors from Duke University School of Law.
