Houston, TX, November 14, 2023 - Winstead PC, a leading Texas-based law firm serving clients across the country, today announced that Miranda Y. Jones, a Chambers-ranked IP trial lawyer, has joined the firm’s Business Litigation group as a shareholder.

Miranda focuses her practice on patent litigation, partnering with clients as they navigate the often-complex trial and appeal processes as well as inter partes review proceedings in the Patent Office. She has handled matters across a broad range of technologies in the electrical, chemical, pharmaceutical, and mechanical industries.
Miranda has represented clients in patent infringement cases before federal courts throughout the country, including Texas, California, Georgia, Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, and Virginia. She has also appeared before the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Miranda’s appellate practice is rooted in her experience working as a law clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit prior to joining private practice.
