Winstead PC Shareholder Seth Eaton's video presentation entitled “Modifications and Workouts of Commercial Real Estate Loans during the COVID-19 Pandemic,” was one of the most watched commercial real estate webinars on JDSupra for 2020, the platform announced.

Eaton's presentation discusses how loan modifications and work-outs have evolved throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. He outlines several different phases of loan modifications and highlights key points and lessons learned in each phase.

Eaton is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Finance Practice Group and leads the Structured Real Estate Debt industry group. His practice focuses on the representation of debt funds, banks and other institutional lenders in commercial mortgage loan, mezzanine loan, preferred equity and other senior and subordinate debt transactions, including the negotiation of co-lender and intercreditor agreements. He also represents loan originators and servicers in connection with loan and note sales, acquisitions and participations.
