Funding Technology Commercialization through Public-Private Partnerships (P3s)
Winstead Shareholders Lekha Gopalakrishnan and Jeff Nydegger will present on Funding Technology Commercialization through P3s. Cash-strapped technology transfer offices (TTOs) face difficult decisions when it comes to choosing invention disclosures that will become the subject of a patent filing. Much of the time, the decision hinges on whether the TTO’s budget has sufficient funds to pay for the preparation of a patent application. A public-private partnership (P3) model can be used in many instances to provide a university TTO with a funding source for its commercialization activities. Learn more.
