Matthew Vitale AssociateMatthew Vitale is a member of Winstead’s Business Litigation Practice Group. Matthew’s practice focuses on complex patent litigation matters both at trial and on appeal, with experience in technologies such as image processing and accelerated erasure coding. Matthew enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and racing triathlons in his spare time and finds that the focus and drive needed to succeed in endurance sports transfers well to the competitive environment of litigation.
Representative Experience
- Part of the trial team that secured a $240 million jury verdict for StreamScale in a suit against Cloudera, in which the jury found all four asserted claims infringed and all three asserted patents valid.
