Kathleen Thompson

Kathleen Thompson is a member of Winstead's Real Estate Finance Practice Group. Kathleen brings a commercial litigation background to her corporate practice, drawing on her understanding of how one area overlaps with and influences the other. Kathleen knows that getting in front of issues on the transactional side and conducting solid, tactical work from the start helps avoid litigation and other problems down the road. 

Kathleen previously worked for a lobbying firm in Washington, DC, where she gained a deep understanding of the need to forge strong relationships with clients and to emphasize the human element in law. Prior to that, Kathleen externed with District Judge Amos Mazzant in the Eastern District of Texas, which taught her the prime importance of citing information in a straight-forward manner and with absolute accuracy.
