Dylan Maichel

Dylan Maichel is a member of Winstead’s Construction Practice Group. 

Dylan practices complex civil litigation with an emphasis on construction-related disputes. His experience ranges from assisting with the numerous facets of the discovery process to drafting pleadings and motions. In addition, Dylan has extensive experience conducting legal research and analysis on a wide array of legal issues, both procedural and substantive. Dylan has also argued motions and at trial in various Texas State and Federal courts. 

Before beginning his legal career, Dylan worked in construction, primarily in the pipeline industry. He spent years performing pipeline maintenance services on a myriad of municipal water and sewage mains, refineries, and oil and gas transportation lines. He brings this wealth of real-world industry experience when assisting clients with their most pressing challenges.

Dylan graduated with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. While attending law school, he had the pleasure of serving as an Associate Editor and as a Managing Assistant Editor of the Texas Law Review and as a Staff Editor of the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law.
