Adelee Traylor is a shareholder in Winstead’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and technology transactions, guiding clients across the healthcare, life sciences and technology sectors—from startups to Fortune 500 companies—through the full lifecycle of IP and technology-related matters.

Her work spans the structuring and negotiation of both domestic and international transactions, including technology transfer and licensing arrangements, acquisitions, outsourcing agreements, research development activities, complex software agreements, and joint ventures. Additionally, she advises clients on capitalizing on their investments in their technology by protecting and enforcing their IP, including the clearance, use, registration, maintenance, and opposition of IP rights and assets.

Adelee also has extensive experience with agreements relating to the conduct of medical research, including clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies. She frequently works with hospitals, government agencies, CROs, and global suppliers on behalf of life sciences companies, navigating international research and data-sharing arrangements.

Earlier in her career, Adelee gained valuable in-house perspective through roles at a university tech transfer office, a major hospital system, and a global pharmaceutical company.
