AUSTIN, TX , August 25, 2022 – Winstead PC, a leading national business law firm, today announced that Linda Burgess, an Austin based shareholder, and member of the firm’s Business Litigation group, has joined the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings as an Administrative Law Judge.

“Having regularly appeared before state and federal courts at the trial and appellate level as well as the State Office of Administrative Hearings, Linda’s experience will serve her, and the state, well as she embarks on this next chapter,” added Mr. Dawson.

The State Office of Administrative Hearings resolves disputes between Texas agencies, other governmental entities, and private citizens either through an administrative hearing or mediation.   The Office is separate and independent from the agencies involved in the disputes.

While with Winstead, Linda was recognized by Texas Super Lawyers, Civil Litigation Defense, 2005-2022 and by The Best Lawyers in America, Insurance Law, 2009-2023.  She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. and from the University of Oklahoma College of Law with a J.D.
