DALLAS, Oct. 31, 2017, — Veteran transactional attorney Brandon Jones has joined Winstead's Taxation, Employee Benefits & Private Business Practice Group as a shareholder in the Fort Worth office. Brandon has more than 15 years of experience counseling clients across a variety of industries, including energy, entertainment, health care, hospitality, insurance, retail and waste recycling.

Having begun his legal career as a tax attorney, Brandon brings a unique perspective to clients. He advises closely-held and family-owned businesses and private equity clients in connection with a variety of business transactions, including entity formations, joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and project structuring and restructuring. Brandon also advises his clients in connection with asset protection, corporate governance, income tax planning and estate planning matters.

Brandon received his J.D. in 2000 from Baylor Law School and M.B.A in 2000 from Baylor University. Brandon also received his LL.M. in 2001 from New York University School of Law.
