July 7 S.W.A.T. Officers Thanked With Suite for Cowboys Game
Dallas, TX, Aug. 30, 2016 – As a thank you for their service, 20 officers with the Special Weapons and Tactics Division of the Dallas Police Department will occupy some of the best seats in the house for the Dallas Cowboys preseason game against the Houston Texans, Sept. 1 at AT&T Stadium.
Winstead PC has donated their suite at AT&T Stadium to the Dallas Police Department as a thank you to the men and women who tirelessly serve our community. The S.W.A.T. officers, who were among the first responders to the downtown Dallas shootings July 7, will enjoy the game from a field-level suite near the 20-yard line.
“The Dallas Police Department appreciates the generosity expressed by Winstead. Providing Dallas Cowboys tickets to the SWAT officers on scene on July 7, is another display of gratitude for the officers’ service and commitment,” said Gary Tittle, Assistant Chief of Police with the Dallas Police Department. “While the gift shows appreciation, it comes with a true demonstration of the thoughtfulness our community has shown during these difficult times.”
Howard Mudrick, Executive Director for the Dallas-based law firm noted, “We want to thank the men and women of DPD for all they do for the citizens of Dallas. We felt giving them great seats to see the Cowboys was an appropriate way to express our appreciation.
