Winstead’s Bruce Wilkin and Andrew Edelman Elected Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation

Houston, Texas, Nov. 18, 2015 — Winstead shareholder Bruce Wilkin and associate Andrew Edelman have been elected to membership in the prestigious Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.  Fellows of the Foundation are selected for their outstanding professional achievements and their demonstrated commitment to the improvement of the justice system throughout the state of Texas.  

Each year one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys are invited to become Fellows. Once nominees are selected, they must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. 

Wilkin and Edelman are members of Winstead’s Business Litigation Practice Group and provide legal support in commercial, insurance, energy and environmental litigation.  Wilkin represents clients at both the trial and appellate level in commercial, energy, environmental, and first party insurance disputes.  Wilkin received his J.D. from Baylor Law School where he was executive editor of Baylor Law Review.

Edelman represents clients in various state and federal civil trial and appellate matters, including business litigation, energy litigation, civil rights litigation, and insurance coverage disputes.  Edelman received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law with honors and was a recipient of the Dean’s Achievement Award.  To learn more about the Texas Bar Foundation, visit:  www.txbf.org.
