On April 30, the Austin Business Journal will honor Winstead founder Pete Winstead with the 2015 W. Neal Kocurek Commercial Real Estate Special Achievement Award.  The award will be a part of the program for the 2015 Commercial Real Estate Awards dinner at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin.　 This event recognizes the projects--and the people and companies behind them--that exemplify best practices in building and development and have the biggest impact on our community.

Pete has accomplished many great feats and continues to be a person who makes things happen for his community.  His major involvement in civic, political and philanthropic matters in the Austin area has made him a "go to" person to secure the award of various projects from political entities in the region or just to position a client to understand and succeed in the Central Texas area. He has been part of building winning teams to secure and build public facilities and infrastructure and has become active in the public private partnership arena.
