Southeast Austin is 15 minutes from downtown and five minutes from an international airport.  In this rural area where the Circuit of the Americas Race Track was built, development costs are currently low and major transportation improvements have been made to SH I-30 and other roads, making this location an ideal spot for ambitious real estate developers, including Winstead client Brookfield Residential.

Winstead shareholder Carey Gunn Venditti and associate Emily Jung represent Brookfield Residential, a Canadian-based master planned community developer recently highlighted in the Austin Business Journal in an article calling Southeast Austin the new land of opportunity.  Carey and Emily represent Brookfield Residential on two projects in Southeast Austin: Easton Park and Addison.  Easton Park is a 1,500 acre master planned community projected to have 8,000-10,000 living units and 4M sq. ft. of commercial development. The first units are scheduled to open this fall.  Addison features 500 homes on 200 acres and is scheduled to open this spring.  Click here to view the article on Austin Business Journal’s Web site.
