The program looks at the way juries view malpractice claims against lawyers arising from mistakes and conflicts of interest, two leading causes of claims. The program first analyzes a mock trial of a claim involving a straightforward mistake. It then looks at a mock trial of the same claim with an added conflict of interest. This program analyzes a lawyer’s ethical and professional obligations and the lessons learned from both trials, illustrating them with video clips of the jurors’ deliberations. The program offers practical tips on meeting professional obligations and for reducing the risk of mistakes and conflicts.
