Dallas - Real Estate Associate
Winstead PC is seeking an Associate or Of Counsel attorney with at least 6 years of real estate experience to join our Real Estate group in Dallas. Candidates should have experience focused on real estate finance and joint ventures. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in the following areas:
- Real Estate Joint Ventures: Representing institutional equity investors and developers in joint ventures involving the acquisition or development of multifamily, industrial, cold storage and other commercial real estate product types. Desired experience would include having taken the lead-drafting and lead-negotiation roles for these types of joint ventures.
- Real Estate Financing: Representing institutional borrowers in construction and stabilized real estate financings, including debt fund, structured finance and CMBS-style financings of multifamily, industrial, cold storage and other commercial real estate product types (including those with mezzanine finance components and other capital stack components involved). Dallas - Real Estate Finance Associate
Winstead PC is seeking a 4-6 year attorney for a position with our Real Estate Finance group in Dallas. This position will work on matters associated with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers and private lenders with lending and loan servicing transactions nationwide. We are seeking a midlevel associate attorney with substantial experience in real estate financing work including preparation and negotiation of loan documents, review of due diligence associated with real estate loan closings, recapitalizations, joint ventures, and related corporate and financial transactions. Austin - Junior Real Estate Attorney
Winstead PC is seeking a 2-3 year attorney for a position with our Real Estate group in Austin. This position will primarily work on matters associated with the financing, acquisition, development and leasing of commercial real estate both in Texas and nationally. This is a growth position with a clear path toward advancement within the firm. The position is within a collaborative and interactive practice in our Austin office, and involves aspects of both Real Estate Development work and Real Estate Finance work. We are seeking a junior associate with exposure to real estate transactions and the desire to be cross-trained in multiple real estate disciplines (developments, investments, and finance). Austin - Business Litigation Associate
Winstead PC is seeking a 4-6 year attorney for a position with our Business Litigation practice group in Austin to work under James Ruiz, Chair of our Litigation & Dispute Resolution Department. This practice primarily focuses on complex business litigation and arbitration cases in several substantive areas including real estate, trademarks and copyrights, securities, insurance, franchisor/franchisee disputes, and corporate and partnership issues. Candidates from other Texas cities are encouraged to apply, but familiarity with the Texas courts and rules is an essential skill for this role, so we are not considering out-of-state candidates at this time. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to work primarily from the Austin office, with some work-from-home flexibility for appointments or other personal reasons.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
