John Linker is a member of Winstead’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Practice Group. John has extensive experience litigating labor and employment-related matters in state and federal courts and has managed a vast number of complex employment matters and class action cases around the country.
John concentrates his practice on defending businesses of all sizes in matters involving wrongful terminations, union organizing, unemployment claims, breach of contract matters, unfair labor practice charges, discrimination and harassment claims, ADA and FMLA compliance, wage and hour issues, and investigations by government agencies such as OFCCP, EEOC, NLRB and OSHA.
John also has significant experience in conducting client-tailored training programs for executives and managers on workplace discrimination, harassment, and ADA and FMLA compliance. John frequently speaks on labor and employment issues before local and national trade associations.
John is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Numerous single and multiparty litigation cases involving ADA, FMLA, Wage and Hour, Worker’s Compensation Retaliation, and Unfair Labor Practice charges.
Administrative Enforcement Actions: Representation of numerous clients in defending claims before the EEOC, NLRB, OSHA, and DOL.
Labor Relations Matters: Representation of clients during union election campaigns, collective bargaining, and board proceedings.
Preventative Counseling and Training: Routinely works with HR professionals, general counsel, and business executives to conduct client specific training programs to ensure compliance with all labor and employment matters.
