Jamie Lacy is a member of Winstead’s Business Litigation Practice Group.  Jamie’s Business Litigation Practice focuses on securities litigation and enforcement, white collar-defense, and governmental and internal investigations.  Prior to joining Winstead, Jamie represented commercial sureties in bond and construction disputes.  Jamie also served as an extern for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Representative Experience

Surety Litigation: Represented commercial sureties in complex litigation involving performance and payment bond obligations, bad faith claims, and pursuit of loss recovery opportunities.

Construction Litigation: Represented contractors and sureties in cases involving construction defects and collection actions.

Business Litigation: Represented clients in matters relating to breach of contract, tortious interference, employment disputes, breach of fiduciary duties, misappropriation of trade secrets, and bad faith insurance disputes.

Probate Litigation: Represented clients in matters involving challenges to the validity of testamentary instruments and the interpretation or construction of such instruments.
