Denis Braham Named to Mayor’s International Advisory Council


HOUSTON April 28, 2017 – Denis Braham, Winstead Chairman Emeritus and shareholder, has been appointment to the Mayor’s International Advisory Council.

Mayor Sylvester Turner assembled the advisory group with Houston’s international stakeholder and individuals with extraordinary connections to markets of interest for the city. The group will help the City of Houston coordinate efforts of internal and external groups to improve Houston’s global standing, and help attract international business to the city.

Braham currently serves as chair of the board of trustees for the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston, is legal counsel to Visit Houston and also served on the Super Bowl LI Host Committee board of directors. “Continued collaboration among Houston’s business and civic leadership to position Houston as a premier international destination for business and visitors is critical to our ability to compete and prosper in the international business arena,” notes Braham. “It is an honor to be asked by the Mayor to serve alongside the City’s important business stakeholders and key business leaders.”

The Mayor’s International Advisory Board held its first assembly the week of April 24.
