Denis Braham Serves As Guest Lecturer at Columbia Law School

Shareholder Denis Braham was a guest lecturer at Columbia Law School for a class entitled Complex Business Transactions.  The class consists of third year law students and those seeking a master’s degree in law.  It is taught by a law professor and economist and incorporates real life transactions into the class.  Students divide into teams and get exposure to how different transactions work in various areas of law.

Denis selects some of the more complex transactions he has worked on to share with the class.  As a guest lecturer, he reviews the law student’s analysis of the transactions and discusses the real life outcomes of the deals.  It is great exposure for Winstead and Denis enjoys the opportunity to work with aspiring lawyers in an academic environment. This will be his sixth year as a guest lecturer at Columbia Law School.

Denis works in Winstead’s Sports and University Industry Groups, and Real Estate Development & Investments Practice Group.
